you're not my mom...
someone called the office today, and asked for one of the doctors here. when i asked "whom may I say is calling?" the kid TOTALLY said "Your Mom!" and hung up.

I find a specific comfort in the mundane nature of my life. I'm not the brilliant & crafty sister, or the fabulous chef; I'll never cure cancer, and will probably never really decide what I should be when I grow up... However: I live in the best city in the world, am married to my very best friend, and live a mere mile from the most important family/friends in our lives.
